STUDYING AT UVV IN BRAZIL FOR 6 MONTHS

 


Students that are regularly enrolled in an undergraduation course in a foreign higher level Institution or University, partner of Universidade Vila Velha.

Our academic year is divided in two semesters: the first semester lasts from February to beginning of July (January is Holydays) and the second, from end July to December.

During the authorized period of exchange, the international student will be exempted from tuition fees of UVV. If he wants to extend his exchange program after 6 months, the same tuitions of the Brazilians will be charged.

Exemption of tuitions fees does NOT concern the Medicine course, which will be integrally charged.
For Odontology, Veterinary and Gastronomy, this exemption will ONLY apply to theoretical courses: practical and clinical courses will always be charged.


Assistance of the International Office for foreign student (Accommodation, registration, etc.) will be compulsory charged in R$600 at the arrival.

The International Office provides assistance to the student to find accommodation (Sharing apartments with Brazilian students).

All under-graduation classes are in Portuguese. All students that speak fluent Spanish or basic Portuguese are able to follow the classes.

UVV offers a compulsory intensive levelling Portuguese course (10 hours of classes) for international students. The course costs R$800.
Only Portuguese citizens are exempted from Portuguese

– a Visa delivered by Brazilian Authorities (that he obtains with the acceptance letter delivered by us).
– Health and repatriation insurance that covers all the duration of the exchange program.
